The University of Delhi (Hindi: दिल्ली विश्वविद्यालय; informally known as Delhi University or DU) is a public central university located in Delhi, India. It also serves as the centre of the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi. New Delhi is situated within the metropolis of Delhi and is one of the nine districts of Delhi Union Territory.
