The University of Kota (UOK) is a public university in Kota, Rajasthan, India. It was established with the ascent of the Governor of Rajasthan, and recognized by the UGC in 2003 under the state act. It offers both undergraduate and postgraduate courses. His Excellency Sh. Sh. Shivraj Patil, the governor of Rajasthan, is the chancellor of the university. At present, the University of Kota has 129 affiliated colleges and autonomous departments.The university has education programs in six areas: Arts, Commerce & Management, Education, Law, Science and Social Science.
