Named after a renowned philosopher- thinker, poet, sage and yogi, Vemana, Yogi Vemana University, established in the year 2006, by an Act of A.P state legislature is a blessing and boon for the students and researchers of the backward Rayalseema region in general and Y.S. R district in particular. The erstwhile Sri Venkateswara University Post Graduate Centre was elevated to a University with a humble and noble intention of providing a more conducive environment to impart value-based education and promote quality research and service. The university is committed to nurture and uphold healthy academic standards which contribute to the social, intellectual and moral development.

   The university is situated about 15 kms away from the historic Kadapa City on the Kadapa –Pulivendula road amidst serene surroundings and has a sprawling campus of about 700 acres. With a humble beginning, the university made rapid strides towards overall development and has sufficient infrastructural facilities such as buildings with academic ambience, library, modern science and research laboratories equipped with sophisticated instruments, Super Computer facility, Agri-Science Park, spacious hostels, gym, daycare centre, Botanical Garden and a vast playground. Besides, a a building complex was added for the purpose of conducting training short term vocational and job oriented courses on a continuous basis. At present the university has on its rolls 115 faculty members and about 200 non-teaching staff. The young faculty has rich research experience in India and abroad besides teaching. Presently about 1800 students are pursuing postgraduate and research programmes. Majority of the science faculty have obtained research projects from central funding agencies such as DST/ CSIR/DBT/MNRE / ISRO/UGC/MoES /BRNS /APCOST and considerable number of projects are under progress. The university was accorded 2 (f) recognition in 2007 and 12 (B) status in 2011 by the University Grants Commission, New Delhi. Presently it is an affiliating university with about 100 Post graduate, degree, law, B.Ed, MCA ,MBA and Physical Education colleges under its jurisdiction. In the recent past, the university initiated steps to launch women’s cell, equal opportunities cell, a Day Care Center and coaching programmes for SC/ST/OBC/minority students preparing for competitive examinations. The C.P Brown Library, now elevated to the status of a languages Research Center of the university, located in Kadapa town, has rare books, ancient documents and monographs and efforts are made to preserve and protect ancient literature.

Late Dr. Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, the former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh donated his 312 acres (1.26 km2) of land to build West Campus. A modern concept school, which is called 21st Century Gurukul. The university is named after Yogi Vemana who is known for his philosophical teachings and practicing Achala Paripurna Raja Yoga. Children are taught his teachings and poems at school as part of regular syllabus and moral science at schools.
This University was known earlier as Sri Venkateswara University PG Centre, Kadapa. This PG centre at Kadapa was established as a constituent institute of Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati on 20th November, 1977.
It was upgraded as Yogi Vemana University by the Government of Andhra Pradesh through an Act of A.P. Legislative Assembly on 9th March 2006. It is located at Mittamedipalli village and Panchayat about 15 km from the Kadapa on the Kadapa-Pulivendla road. The campus is spread over 450 acres (1.8 km2) of land.
The Yogi Vemana University, semi-residential in character, has unitary status and potential for phenomenal academic growth in the disciplines of Modern Sciences and Technologies, Humanities and social Sciences in the Years to come.

MA Economics (Final Year) Result 2013,Sarguja VishwavidyalayaSarguja Vishwavidyalaya was established and incorporated by Chhattisgarh Vishwavidyalaya Adhiniyam No. 18 of 2008. The territorial jurisdiction of the University is the entire Sarguja division comprising the revenue districts of Koriya, Sarguja, and Jaspur. It started functioning from September 2, 2008. In 2005, the Guru Ghasidas University in Bilaspur started a branch campus in Ambikapur by permission of the State Higher Education Department, with two diploma courses: Pharmacy (30 students) and Post Graduate Computer Application (30 students). It was hoped that the branch could be upgraded to a university by the Government as soon as necessary infrastructures were developed. This came true in 2008: the state government allotted 220 acres of land near Ambikapur Ramanujganj Road just 10 kilometers away from Ambikapur town. Sarguja is a fast growing industrial area, having a large number of small industrial units. The jurisdiction is the nerve centre of business, especially coal, forestry, and natural resources, including medicinal trees.

It was established with the ascent of the Governor of Rajasthan, and recognized by the UGC in 2003 under the state act. It offers both undergraduate and postgraduate courses. His Excellency Sh. Sh. Shivraj Patil, the governor of Rajasthan, is the chancellor of the university. At present, the University of Kota has 129 affiliated colleges and autonomous departments.

It is the fifth Open University in India. The jurisdiction of the university, originally for the State of Maharashtra, has now been extended beyond this State and the university can now operate anywhere across the globe. The YCMOU has been recognized under section 12 (B) of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956.
It is a member of associations and bodies like the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU), Asian Association of Open Universities (AAOU), and Commonwealth of Learning (COL), Canada.
The University offers offline programmes and has also embarked on online initiatives. The YCMOU has its headquarters at Nashik and provides support to its learners through study centres, which are all over the State of Maharashtra.

Maharashtra has a long tradition of educational reforms. Mahatma Jyotiba Phule, Panjabrao Deshmukh, Babasaheb Ambedkar, Bhaurao Patil, Swami Ramanand Teerth and other great thinkers and reformers have contributed to educational philosophy and movement in the state. It was therefore appropriate that the state realized the need of an open university.

Capital of India", was established in July 1964 as an off shoot of the University of Mysore, primarily to include institutions of higher learning located in the metropolitan city of Bangalore and the districts of Bangalore, Kolar and Tumkur, which eventually became a separate university. Initially, the two premier colleges of the city, the Central College (CC) and the University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering (UVCE) formed the nucleus of Bangalore University.
Soon after the establishment of Bangalore University, as a first step in the re-organization of courses instructions, the University introduced Honours Courses in the year 1965-66. Three year Honour's courses in Botany, Chemistry, Economics, English, Geology, Kannada, Mathematics and Zoology which were offered only at the University Post Graduate Departments have attracted many brilliant students. Honours passed students were admitted to Post Graduate Courses on priority and B.A./B.Sc. graduates, who marginally missed admission to the Post Graduate Courses were given an opportunity to join the final year Honours course and seek admission to Post Graduate Courses, thereafter. Since 1964, Bangalore University has grown both in size and strength to include a large number of affiliated colleges, P.G. Centers with a rich diversity of programme options. In consonance with this expansion, in 1973, the University moved into a new campus named 'Jnana Bharathi' (JB) located on a sprawling 1100 acres of land and shifted many of its post graduate departments to this newly established campus. At present the JB Campus houses the office of the Vice Chancellor, Registrar, Registrar (Evaluation), Finance Officer and a large number of post graduate departments, Directorates, Centres of higher learning, NSS Bhavan, Outdoor Stadium and other support services. The University Law College, started in 1948 and The College of Physical Education, started in 1959 are located in the JB Campus. Since 1973, the University is functioning from both the campuses – the main campus at Jnana Bharathi and the City Campus at Central College.

Mahajraja Ganga Singh University, Bikaner (formerly named as the University of Bikaner, Bikaner) has been established by the University of Bikaner Act, 2003 (Act No. 13 of 2003), the Rajasthan Gazette Extraordinary Part-4(Ka), published on June, 07, 2003 as a new State University.
The Chancellor
Her Excellency the Governor of Rajasthan Smt. Margaret Alva is the Chancellor of the Maharaja Ganga Singh University, Bikaner.
The Vice Chancellor
The Governor of Rajasthan, in the capacity of Chancellor of the University, on the advice of the State Government appoints the Vice Chancellor of the University. Presently, Shri Anand Kumar, IAS is the Vice Chancellor of the University.
Headquarters
The Headquarters of the University is at Bikaner which is also the Headquarters of the Vice Chancellor.
Jurisdiction
Notwithstanding anything contained in any law for the time being in force but subject to the provisions of the University of Rajasthan Act, 1946, the Rajasthan Agriculture University, Bikaner Act, 1987 (Act No. 39 of 1987), the Rajasthan Sanskrit University Act, 1998 (Act No. 10 of 1998), the Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology Udaipur Act, 2002 (Act No. 8 of 2000) and the Rajasthan Ayurved University Act, 2002 (Act No.15 of 2002) the jurisdiction of the University extends to all the constituent, affiliated or autonomous colleges, institutes, institutions and departments within the Bikaner Division of the State of Rajasthan as notified by the State Government under the provisions of the Rajasthan Land Revenue Act, 1956 (Act No. 15 of 1956) and also to such other constituent, affiliated or autonomous colleges, institutes, institutions and departments within the State of Rajasthan as may be specified by notification in the Official Gazette by the State Government.
